Check a certificate

1. Scan the QR code printed on the certificate with your phone's camera.
2. It opens a page on this site and says Genuine or Not genuine, with the name, number and dates the certificate was issued for.
3. Before you rely on it, check the address bar shows check.policybridge.io.

Nothing is sent anywhere. The certificate's details travel after the # in the address, which a browser never sends to a server, and the page checks the insurer's or scheme's own signature on your phone.

A certificate with no QR code cannot be checked here: ask whoever issued it, named on the certificate, to confirm it.
